Bugs found with Oracle Identity Manager - Active Directory 12c Connector
Nuances of how OIM behgaves with the "required = true" setting on the Process Form I discovered a couple of interesting bugs and nuances about OIM when working with the Microsoft Active Directory User Management Connector 12.2.1.3.0 (Oracle Identity Manager 12c Connector) when installed via Connector-Install (CI) based approach instead of Application Onboarding (AOB) based approach. Symptoms This bug can manifest in many ways, but here is one of them: Requesting an Entitlement for Active Directory via the OIM Self Service UI OIM * thinks* that your request for access completed successfully. After OIM claims that provisioning was attempted, you click refresh on the Entitlements list, but the entitlement doesn’t show up. What the hell? Process Task -> Task History.
